The Members and aim of the club


Started in January 2011 where we visited the first Michelin restaurant 'Benares' in Mayfair, London.



We are 4 friends, who all have a great passion for food and decided in 2011 to create what we called "The Miichelin Club".

The  members in the club are:


  • Ingrid Fernandes
  • Annette Jorgensen
  • Carlos Goode
  • James Squires replaced Manuel Fernandes in 2018


Each member take turns in picking a new restaurant - but the aim is to try the ones with either 2 or 3 Michelin Stars and visit between 2-3 restaurants a year. After each visit we score the restaurants in the underneath  8 categories, which will be further explained here:


  • Food - the taste and presentation
  • Service - the overall service of the restaurant from entering the door to waitors at the table
  • Atmosphere - how do we interact with the staff and what is the overall atmosphere in the restaurant
  • Toilets - the presentation of the toilets and overall cleaness
  • Location - how easy  it is get to the restaurant and is it placed in beautiful surroundings
  • Wine Experince - how good is the wine waitor to recommend the perfect wines and how did they taste
  • Early Bird Experience - how do the restaurant handle that we turn up 10 minutes early
  • Value for money - how do the total bill compare with the overall experience
