All 4 members in the Michelin Club went for the Surprise Menu, where the following dishes were served:
Cornish cock crab - Smoked kipper and cucumber
Vegetable Nosotto - Obsiblue prawns, Asian pomelo
Monkfish - “à la Grenobloise“
French green asparagus - Smoked hay Hollandaise, confit Italian lemon & hazelnuts
Duck - 28 hours baked beetroot, smoked eel & beetroot sauce
European cheese board (additional)
Tarte Tatin Parfait - Golden raisins and Calvados
Wine:
The Wine was picked with help from the Sommelier, where we had the following:
White: San Lorenzo Camp Oche 2013 (Italy)
Red: Chianti Bucerchiale (Italy)
Port: 4 gl. Tawny 20 Sandeman
Dessert: La Stoppa Vigna Volta 08 50CL (Italy)
Extras:
We got 3 tasters before dinner and some chocolate and small cakes after dinner.
Annette, Carlos and James also got a nice kitchen tour in their very nice and modern kitchen.
