All 4 members in the Michelin Club went for the Tasting Menu, where the following dishes were served:
Starters:
4 x Tandoori Green Prawn, Madagascan wild tiger prawn – coriander, mint and chilli
4 x Malai Chicken Tikka
Mains:
4 x Main courses served in a silver crescent of 4 curries with lemon rice & naan, Lobster Malabar Curry, Chicken Makhani Masala, Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh, Fresh Pineapple Curry
Desserts:
2 x Chocolate Ganache
2 x Kaala Jaam,warm, black gulab jamun with salted caramel ice cream
Wine:
We didn't get much help from the Sommelier, who just suggested the Wine menu - so more or less picked the wines ourselves:
White: Gruner Veltliner (Austria).
Red: Altos Malbec (Argentina).
Dessert: 1/2 Tokaji Mylitta (Hungary).
Extras:
Furthermore we got a small soup as a palate cleanser. We asked for the kitchen tour but they wouldn't allow it - so was quite disappointed by that as this is the first time except for during COVID-19 where this request has been turned down.
