All of us got the 7 courses lunch menu and shared 1 cheese course from the cheese trolley between us - so had the following dishes served:


La Betterave - Beetroot tartare & horseradish
Le Saumon - Confit Loch Duart Salmon, cucumber & dill
Le Homard - Roasted Cornish Lobster, Mango and Cardemon

L'Agneau - Milk-fed English Lamb, Garden courgette ratatouille & Olive

Les Fromages (to share) - The very best artisanal British & French Cheeses

Le Chocolat Et La Noix De Coco - Textures of chocolates and coconut
La Fraise Gariguette - Gariguette Strawberry & Pistachio Tart molasses and strawberry jus
Les Petits Fours - Our selection of Teas and Coffees

We got some help from the Somelier to pick the wines where we had the following:


White: 1 x Sancerre La Vigne Blanche, Domaine Henri Bourgeois (French)

Red: 1 x Chianti Classico Castello di Bossi (Italy)

Port: 4 gl. Quinta do Infantado Late Bottled Vintage 2015 (Portugal)

Dessert: 4 gl. Jurançon La Magendia 2017, Domaine Lapeyre (Francce)



Extras:


Furthermore we got a tour of the Kitchen at the time where they were breaking between lunch and dinner - so ít was nearly dead.Also did a lovely walk around their beautiful Garden where they grow all their herbs and vegetables.
