All of us got the 7 courses Surprise Tasting menu and shared 1 cheese course between us - so had the following dishes served:


Tomato - Nutbourne Heritage Tomato - Basil/Vodka
Scallop - Orkney Scallop - Jersey Royal Potatoes - Morels - Mussels

Turbot - Wild Turbot - Cauliflower - Boudin Noir
Hogget - Lake District Hogget - Wye Valley Asparagus - Wild Garlic

Cheese - selection of British Cheeses
Strawberry - Gariguette Strawberry - Meadowsweet - Sicilian Pistachio - Lemon Balm
Hazelnut - Cuban Chocolate - Hazelnut - Armagnac



Wine:


We got some help from the Somelier to pick the wines where we had the following:


White: 1 x Springfield Estate Albarino (South Africa)

Red: 1 x Bodega Colome Lote Especial (Argentina)

Port: 4 gl. of Port Ugrade (Portugal)

Dessert: 4 gl. PX Sherry (Spain)



Extras:


Furthermore we got 4 lovely snacks to start with, a delicious bread course in between the Turbot and Hogget and some lovely sweet snacks at the end, which were basically a replica of the 4 snacks from the beginning but this time in a sweet instead of savory version. We also met the head chef Alex Payne who served some of the dishes for us and got to see their tiny kitchen.
